Naldehra

Naldehra is a must visit place if you plan a trip to Shimla. It is only 22 km from Shimla. Nature lovers and adventure seekers shall never miss the place. Lush greenery and the whole walk way surrounded by cedars & deodar trees make this place very beautiful. 18 holes golf course is the main attraction of this place. Jakhoo Temple

Mall Road is one of the best shopping places in Shimla. This place offers a lot for tourists to shop like handicraft items, handmade jewellry, woolen clothes, books and more. Wooden furniture shops are the main attraction of this place. This place is also called as Lakkar Bazaar. You can buy all types of wooden handmade items for home decoration and gifting. Many hotels, restaurants, and recreation centers are also located here.

Institute of Advanced Study

Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS) Shimla is India’s well-known research center that offers post-doctoral courses. The building was built during 1884-1888 and was being used to hold important political meetings by the British Government. The main attraction of the institute is the teak-paneled interiors which are extremely unique and beautiful. The building has a decorated reception hall, grand staircase, entrance portico, fireplace and other areas like drawing room, ballroom, and the wood-paneled dining room and an indoor tennis court.
