Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal is a beautifully architected building in Jaipur which was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. It is a five story building which is also called “Palace of winds”. Hawa Mahal has a beehive like structure with 953 windows or ‘Jharokhas’. The main architecture of this palace built of red and pink sandstone.
The royal Rajput ladies were not allowed to go to public places and should not be seen by strangers. So, the Hawa Mahal was constructed from where they could enjoy the events and festivals in the street and all hustles and bustles of the city.
Amer Fort
Amer Fort, also known as Amber Fort is one of the popular tourist destinations of Jaipur. Amber fort is located on Cheel Ka Teela on Aravalli Hills. This ancient fort was built by Raja Man Singh in 1592. It is not only a fort but also has palaces, temples and gardens, so it is also known as Amer Palace of Jaipur. Elephant safari in Amer Fort is also available to visit the fort. There is a beautiful lake near the fort which is called Maota Lake.

City Palace
City Palace of Jaipur has total nine blocks, which also includes the famous ‘Chandra Mahal’ and ‘Mubarak Mahal’. The palace has many courtyards and buildings in it. The palace was built by Sawai Jai Singh II in 1732, where the construction was started in 1729. The architecture of the palace reflects the fusion of Rajput, Mughal and European styles.
